Beautiful Venue + Very Real, Down-to-Earth People
As a bride in search of the best place to hold a wedding ceremony/reception, there are a whole host of things that can factor into the decision. Let me start off this review by saying there were 2 big things that truly won me over with this venue that I want to focus on:
1) On our very first visit to The Heights Villa (THV), Brendan (one of the owners) said "We do things differently at The Heights Villa. You might love it. You might hate it, but what you see is what you get." After hearing that, I was well on my way to being sold on this place. A genuine, no-nonsense approach from very real, down-to-earth people is exactly what we got in our experience working with Cathy, Brendan, and Kelli at THV.
From day one, everything was clearly laid out in black & white. They said no hidden fees - and they meant it. If something was going to cost extra, we knew about it ahead of time and had full authority and understanding over what would ultimately happen - end of story. They helped us save money where we could in our budget while still giving us premium service & attention to detail.
The kind of conversations I had with each THV representative left me feeling seen, heard, and acknowledged as a bride (regardless of how stressed out I probably seemed to them).
When they heard about my house fire in the final 2 months leading up to our wedding, they called me out of the blue to offer to help us out with things that were outside of their scope of work as a venue (printing our seating chart, offering additional set-up equipment, etc.).
2) THV is well-connected with a whole slew of top-notch vendors. When they say someone does a great job for them, they mean it. Good people attract more good people, and I am so thankful for them sharing their list of preferred vendors with us. Having this network of vetted wedding professionals at our fingertips took a HUGE weight off of my shoulders as the primary planner. Not only were we saving time and money, but we were also saving the added stress of communication errors that often arise when a new team of people comes together to execute a project. Y'all - I had ZERO hiccups from ANY of them (at least none that actually got back to the bride's ears). No mistakes. No issues. No nothing. Just great service, people doing what they said they would, and enjoying my last day as a single gal.

Such an amazing experience!
I had my wedding 11/5/22 in the Grand Ballroom at the Heights Villa, and it was way better than what we had expected! The decor is included in the venue fee, and honestly I felt like it paid for itself. The linens, centerpieces, silverware, and uplighting were all included, so I loved that I didn’t have to do much to make it beautiful. Our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the set-up was.
The owners Cathy and Brandon were so nice and great communicating. Kelli (the day-of-coordinator who works with the venue) was FANTASTIC to work with! I can’t recommend her enough. She was a god-send to have, and she made sure everything ran super smoothly. Even our guests told us she was doing a great job.
The suites were so spacious and nice! The groom suite had a pool table, and the bridal suite had like 6-7 makeup chairs so everyone could get ready at once. It was great!
We chose to do the bar buyout option, so we supplied the alcohol and the venue supplied the bartenders. It saved a LOT of money, and the service was still so good.
Overall, we had a great time at the Heights Villa. Literally all of our guests were wowed by the decor and service, and our families had nothing but good things to say. 100/10 would recommend!

The HighLight To The End Of 2020!
Our son and now daughter- in- love got married here this past Sunday! We had an amazing time. Everything was beautifully done. The owners, staff and Kelly were simply amazing; accommodating and super friendly. The entire process; from reserving the venue, planning and bring the Bride and Grooms vison to life was on point. Our son is active military and was deployed during the entire wedding process; they even took that into consideration and kept the possibility of him not returning home in time on their radar. The compassion they showed during our planning process was also very special as we did experience a financial loss with a previous venue that went bankrupt. The Bride and Groom were all smiles from beginning to end. And, Kelly, what can I say! She was so patient and accommodating to us, the Bride and Groom, our very large wedding party and well as our guest. We were a lot to work with. She was on pint with every move, request and need. The venue was clean, beautifully decorated and all COVID-19 precautions had been taken. Heights Villa thank you for making our son and daughters wedding day one to remember.

We absolutely love Cathy and Brendan!!! They are an awesome bunch and will take care of you just like family! If you are looking for a venue that offers great service who personalizes their guests, this is the place for you. Their patios are like none other in the Houston area. The walkway leading towards the back patio will make you feel like you’re in another country. This venue is down right beautiful and they are so accommodating. The day of our wedding was fabulous thanks to Lesley who helped throughout the entire night; she’s simply fabulous!! Jamie is so responsive and won’t let you believe you’re in the planning process alone as she reminds you of things that you might have forgotten. They walk you through the entire planning process. You won’t be sorry with trusting them to hold your event! The Vara’s are a part of THV family for life!

We thank you for everything. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was. I will definitely make sure to let my friends know about how the Heights took care of us and its a 5 star place that we highly recommend.
Don't get me started on Kelli, SHE WAS GREAT, AMAZING AND UNDERSTANDING. We loved her and she made the day easier. Hire her as day of coordinator.
We are so thankful you all let us hold the celebration of our love at your venue and we will always be thankful to you all for making it amazing.
